Covid Updates

Worship Services: Sundays 9am & 11am

Worship services are held in our newly renovated church building at 187 Crosswicks Chesterfield Road in Chesterfield, NJ. There are two identical weekly services at 9am and 11am. The nursery is available for children ages 0 through Kindergarten during the 9am service.

Guidance for Indoor Services
We praise God that we have been able to meet for church in person and also worship virtually.  All precautions in place are derived from the CDC website or the New Jersey Department of Health’s recommendations. Please view this document as a draft that changes and adapts to changing health guidelines.

We care about you and your family. Please take time to review the CDC website to help you make a decision about whether or not it is safe for you to return to in-person services. We understand that not everyone will be comfortable meeting in person, and we respect each person’s decision. We will continue to stream live, technology-permitting, each week. We appreciate all of you and are praying for our church family.

Families are encouraged to adhere to state guidelines regarding social distancing.

Childcare will be offered for children six and under at the 9:00 service.

General Safety Measures and Reminders
Please do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms of illness including a fever, cough, chills, or any other symptom of a contagious illness.

Please do not attend if you have knowingly had contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within the past two weeks.

Please take personal responsibility for yourself and your family.

Families or individuals should sit six feet apart from other family units. 

Follow posted signage keeping in mind that directional arrows may be on the floor, as necessary.

Offering baskets will not be passed from person-to-person.

Coffee and refreshments will not be served indoors. You are welcome to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee outside the church building.

While reasonable efforts will be made to create a safe and healthy environment, there is assumed risk in participating with a group.

Please be considerate of those who have differing comfort levels than you do.

We understand that our church family is eager to talk and mingle. For your safety and the safety of others, please exit the building after the service and talk outside.

Childcare Guidelines
With permission and guidance from the state of New Jersey as well as the CDC, we will be offering childcare. Here are some updates and more details and guidance from the CDC is listed below:

1. Childcare will temporarily be for infants through Kindergarten at the 9:00 service only.

2. Volunteers are required to have their temperatures checked using a touch-less thermometer.

3. Children’s temperatures will be taken upon entry using a touch-less thermometer. A fever will be considered as any temperature 99.6 or higher.

4. Children will wash hands immediately upon entry.

5. Please stay home if you or your child is sick.

We will also take the following precautions:

  • Volunteers and children will regularly wash hands or use hand sanitizer
  • Frequently touched surfaces and toys will be cleaned and disinfected
Please review these guidelines with your children and practice proper prevention (such as teaching them to sneeze into their elbows or covering their mouths when they cough).
