6. Church Covenant
In this video, Elder Chris Domenech discusses the church covenant at Fellowship Crosspoint Church. He explains that the covenant is a summary of the commitments that members make to each other based on the commandments in the Bible. He emphasizes that joining the ministry requires making the church covenant and formalizing the commitment to the other members. The covenant is divided into two parts: the introduction and the promises. The introduction highlights that the covenant is made by Christians who have been led by the Spirit of God and baptized. The promises section outlines the commitments to live a godly life, engage in worship and communion, hold each other accountable, study the Bible, participate in fellowship, serve in ministry, and contribute financially.
